We addressed this on our Facebook page some years back. We ceased work on it in the wake of the Harmony Gold lawsuits as we could not afford to be hit with legal action. That project is years old and A.) we have learned a lot in the interim, B.) the quality of the old work is not up to our current standards, and C.) our actors have moved on in their professional lives or stopped acting. We thought about re-launching an effort to do it over, but filmmaking costs money if you want a good product, and we don't have a dedicated income for making new projects. We would have to crowdfund through the various niche communities to do so.

There are a few women on our cast and crew, you may want to check out our IMDB page for the web-series and see which one and where you've heard them before.

Thanks for the feedback, we appreciate your input. Couple of things we would like to note: we originally wrote what is now Eps 1-3 as a 10min thing that was part comedy part action, and it snowballed. The writer wrote Sarge pretty closely to someone he knew: a peacetime-era Sergeant Major who spoke in third-person and was very gruff if not shouty. The voice actor, James McLeroy Jr (who is somewhere in the comments on this video), was given a LOT of leeway to do his lines. He tried several approaches and this was the one he took. James, a Navy veteran, also took a few Navy chiefs that he knew, and wrapped them into his performance.

The post-credits scene is a clue. More will be revealed in later episodes (Ep 6 maybe?).

if you go back to the last episode the lady who gave them the job said blowing it up was an alternate solution. =)

@@shannonhess4635 Yes and they did not. They just left the Hammerhead there to do its objective.

@@Godwinsname Personally, I wouldn't stick around and try to 1v1 a fully-crewed Hammerhead either. The Hammerhead was there to try and recover their pirates, only Nocturne knew it was coming. Blowing up the station was their objective if they couldn't get the data. We didn't see it happen but presumably they got it? IDK, like they said in comments it will be explained in another episode.

@@shannonhess4635 The problem isn't that they failed, the problem is that they haven't even tried. Like you said, they didn't know the Hammerhead would turn up, so they should have just begun to do their mission, not escort their prisoner out and leave just like that. Unless they planned to return after, but that seems VERY inefficient, better to handcuff her to a chair with 1 guard and the rest doing the mission. But they didn't even try.

Yeah what’s so Stereotypical about Sarge’s Voice?

Yeah, we might have made some stuff up in a later episode about why they're using it, since the Starfarer's main features aren't in-game yet. But also the Caterpillar wasn't available when we shot this last year. =P

The Cat isn't half as labyrinthine as the Starfarter. There's just one entry, one large floor and one walkway. Very little surprises to expect. ;-)
